| What is the difference between POP3 email and email forwarding? |
With Email Forwarding, you need an existing email address which to forward emails to. With POP3 accounts, you do not need an existing email adres; we will provide you with this. Nameway®'s free email forwarding service allows you to create up to 100 email addresses that will be forwarded to another existing email address. For example, you can set up the account You@YourNewDomain.com to forward to your existing email address of You@YourISP.com or You@Hotmail.com or any other existing email address. You must have an existing email address to use this service. There is no need to change the settings in your email program when using this service. Nameway®'s POP3 Email Pak gives you an actual mailbox on Nameway®'s
mail server from which you can send and receive email. It is not necessary
to have an existing email account with your ISP or web host in order
to use this service. |

| How do I set up my free email forwarding? |
To set up your free e-mail forwarding: Click " domain Names", "my domains". Scroll down to the "e-mail settings" area, click "change". On the following page, put any user name you like into the "Username" box, and on the same line put a real destination e-mail account in the "Forward To" box. Repeat as needed. Click "save changes" when you are done, and allow up to 1 hour to it to start working properly. NOTE 1: this is a DYNAMIC page, meaning when you run out of boxes,
click SAVE CHANGES, and to add more, click CONFIGURE in the "e-mail
settings" area and you will be brought back to this page, but
with more empty boxes for you to fill out. |

| Can I use more than one type of e-mail service at the same time, such as pop3 email and mail forwarding? |
Yes. Currently Nameway® offers a wide variety of possibilities, including free e-mail forwarding, use of an e-mail server IP address, use of a standard MX record including the mail server name, and also the POP/SMTP mail service that is available through your interface. Only one of these services may be used on a domain at once, but you may change the service at any time to suit your needs. |

| How do I get more than 15 email forwarding addresses? Can I have more than 100 email forwarding addresses? |
As you enter the data for email forwarding, more blank lines will automatically appear. You will be able to enter up to a maximum of 100 forwarding addresses. |

| What is the * (other) email forwarding record and how do I use it? |
When using our email forwarding service there is a special record you can use to set up "wildcard" email forwarding. What this means is that an email sent to an address at your domain that has not been specifically set up will just be sent to the address specified in your wildcard forwarding record. To set up a wildcard email forwarding record: Log In to Nameway® your account. From the menu at the left select domain names and then my domains. This will bring up a list of all domains in your account. Click on the domain you wish to manage or type it into the box at the bottom center of the page. Your domain must be using Nameway®'s DNS servers in order to use our email forwarding service. If your domain is not already using our servers, click the configure button in the first section - DNS Server. Change the current service to Nameway® and save your changes. Once your domain is using Nameway®'s DNS servers, you will see a section called Email Settings. If your domain is not already set up to use the email forwarding service you will need to select this option using the change button. Now that you have set up your domain to use our email forwarding service using the configure button to set up specific addresses. The last record in your list of email forwarding address, "* (other)", is the preset wildcard forwarding record. In the "Forward to" box for this record simply enter the address to which you'd like email forwarded and save the changes. That's all there is to it. In most cases your new forwarding should begin working within 1 hour. If you have just switched your domain to begin using Nameway®'s DNS servers it may take up to 24 hours for this change to take effect.

| How do I make it look like I am sending email from my domain when I am using email forwarding? |
In most cases, you simply edit the outgoing email address in your existing email client account settings. Just open the email account properties or configuration of your current email client account (such as the one given to you by your ISP) and change the email address field to the one you are using with your domain name. *In most email clients, this will not affect how the email account
given to you by your ISP will receive or send mail, it will simply
change what your friends and contacts see in the "from"
line when receiving mail from you. Be sure not to change any of the
important settings such as your mail servers, account username, or
password. Below is a screen shot in Microsoft Outlook to give you an idea of where to make your change.

| What is the difference between the ".NAME email forwarding" email address and the free Nameway® email forward service? |
The difference is in the structure of the email address. With the .NAME email address, the structure would look like this for the john.smith.name registrant. The Registry forwards this address to a real pop3 email account, and there is a fee for this forwarding that you purchase the with domain: With Nameway® you can have many more email addresses forwarded, for free, but the email address structure would look like this for the domain name john.smith.name: email@john.smith.name |

| Can I forward email to more than one address? |
When using Nameway®'s email forwarding service you can forward mail to two or more separate recipients. Click "domain names", "my domains". DNS Server should say: current service: - Nameway® -. NOTE 1: this is a DYNAMIC page, meaning when you run out of boxes, click SAVE CHANGES, and to add more, click CONFIGURE in the "e-mail settings" area and you will be brought back to this page, but with more empty boxes for you to fill out. NOTE 2: the software will automatically stop you at 15 line entries. To get more, (up to 100, no extra charge) subject a REQUEST FOR HELP and request up to 100 total alias's. Include your LOGIN name and domain name.

| Is there a message size limit or attachment size restriction when using email forwarding? |
There is currently a message size limit of 10 MB (megabytes) when using our email forwarding service. |

| How do I get 100 free email forwarding addresses? It only gives me 15. |
The software will automatically stop you at 15 line entries. To get more, (up to 100, no extra charge) submit a REQUEST for HELP through this Support Center tool. Include your LOGIN name and domain name. Once we have added the additional alias address lines to the domain, follow the procedure to add more forwarding instructions: Click "domain names", "my domains". On the following page, add any additional user names (alias) you like into the "Username" box, and on the same line put a real destination e-mail account in the "Forward To" box. Repeat as needed. Click SAVE CHANGES when you are done, and allow up to 1 hour to it to start working properly. NOTE 1: this is a DYNAMIC page, meaning when you run out of boxes, click SAVE CHANGES. To add more lines, click CONFIGURE in the "e-mail settings" area and you will be brought back to this page, but with more empty boxes for you to fill out. |
